January 2026 PTA Meeting

We want to share an important update about the PTA meeting on Tuesday, January 6. To allow time for both PTA business and a meaningful community conversation, we will be extending the meeting to 7:00–8:30 pm.

Meeting agenda:

• 7:30–8:30 pm: Community discussion on the MCPS Boundary Study

As many of you may have seen in recent coverage, including this piece from Bethesda Magazine, there are several proposed scenarios under consideration that could impact our community. 

We are intentionally holding this community discussion before the January 9 deadline to submit feedback via the boundary study survey. We strongly encourage all Lakewood families to review all eight proposed options in advance of the meeting:
